There are different common resting area, spacious & well decorated. Friendly & smiley staff. Our TV was not working the first night but it was fixed the next day. Location is a bit far from Kandy city but it is quite and comfy. The bed is also comfy but there is noise when turning on the bed! Overall, very good and recommended!

Management were appallingly rude and refused to acknowledge our cancellation of a second night made prior to our arrival and confirmed by them at the time. He completely disregarded the cancellation policy written on Expedia and refused to refund our payment. He ended up throwing a ruppee note equivalent to 1/3 of what we were owed to ‘make us go away’.Expedia have been essentially uncontactable with regard to this discrepancy between what is written on Expedia and what management says sending automated email responses to our attempt to contact them. I would advise strongly against booking Rivera Residence and against believing cancellation policies outlined by Expedia

Lovely hotel with great staff. Only downside is that the hotel is a fair way to the city centre so have to rely on tuk tuks or taxis. Would highly recommend.
