The staff were great, really helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay even better than expected. The views were amazing and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, lots of food and the local menu was delicious. The road leading up to the hotel is pretty rough and our driver struggled in his little car. Other than that, we were very pleased overall and would stay here again.
We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!!
Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also.
Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds.
The place is so peaceful and nice and the staff were so accommodating. The place is a little far up which a car or maybe a TukTuk can drive but staff of the resort is superb. We left an item over to the resort and they handled everything and sent a parcel to our next destination. Kudos to the team! And the dogs they have
Staff extremely helpful - ordering transport, giving advice, checking you had everything you needed. This is far away from Kandy which is good if you want quiet and beautiful views. The plunge pool is a nice touch and means you can relax whilst taking in the surroundings. Pickme can be tricky in Kandy with drivers cancelling trips. Or they arrive, cancel you trip and try to renegotiate another price and as not everyone wants to drive that far you can’t be picky. The breakfast at the property was very tasty - English and Sri Lankan options. I had dinner there too. Unfortunately the cut of beef they chose should be slow cooked but it wasn’t and therefore was fatty and chewy. However the curry and rice were very tasty. NB this property does not have a lift and some rooms are up more than 60 steps from the ground floor, which is also up some steps as it is built into the hillside.
Absolutely stunning location and property, a gem in the outer skirts of the hill Capital, Kandy. Well designed and spacious. Cleanliness and security was 100% and friendly, efficient staff. Surrounded by mountains and fresh air, I didnt want to return home 😄.
Everything was perfect even for a short business trip. Peace and tranquillity is assured. Wish I had more time to spend there.
Manager, Rajitha Herttiarachchi seems to have an all round experience in the hotel and tourism industry. Very obliging and His personal attention during the stay was excellent and made sure meals were served on time and I was comfortable.
Meals were tastefully prepared and served, and exceeded my expectations.
Thank you Rajitha and team for making my stay a memorable one. I will be back for my next vacation.

Good views. Really far from town.
Not really a resort. But we'll maintained. And custom cooked dinner and breakfast ( helped that I was the only guest staying there).
Quite far from the city - a 30m tuktuk ride they will organize but u pay for.
Great views - as advertised.
But as another reviewer here has mentioned - you will see ants crawling across the floor Andy our sheets...
Kind friendly owner - who lives next door
