"This was a good place to stay close to Ohio State University. Placed our reservation on line. The signs say Fairfield but once we got inside the desk clerk said welcome to the comfort Inn by Marriott. Very confusing. Cleanliness and upkeep of the property was fair at best. I think the upkeep was the biggest problem making it look less clean. It was a nice room and comfortable bed but the bathroom light was attached to the fan and it squealed for a long time after being turned on. Finally the squealing stopped so we left it on all night with the door closed. It was that or go into a totally dark bathroom. TV worked well as did the internet connection which was free. So not a bad stay, but not the best of Marriott."

"It seemed like it had been a nice hotel at one time. There were tall wood beamed ceilings in the public areas and huge tropical trees. However, the glass entry needed to be cleaned, swimming pool was visibly dirty and the hot tub had no water. There weren’t any signs indicating the pool was closed but wisely, no guests ventured in while I was there. The ice machine only dispensed a cupful of ice. The room ac was noisy and tricky to adjust. On the plus side, all staff that I encountered - reception desk, housekeeping, bar - were helpful and friendly. The breakfast choices were good and the scrambled eggs were very good."

"I didn't get to stay during this work weekend, due to my boss had a family medical emergency! I paid ahead for two rooms plus the insurance and didn't know until the last minute we were not going to Ann Arbor for this trip. I cancelled thru Expedia, I cancelled thru Spark. But no one would reimburse my Bosses credit card. I shouldn't have to go thru the insurance company to get my money back. We didn't stay, the rooms were open for someone else to stay in, they still could've been filled those two nights. It's just a simple procedure, just reimburse the credit card that paid for the two rooms for the two nights. That's why you pay insurance.. you keep the insurance money you charged for both of us. Please post this...People might think before they buy the insurance, because it's not worth the money!!"

"Room was clean and stocked with towels and soaps. Staff was helpful during check-in. Looked like hallways were getting prepped for new paint. USB charger connectors worked in room. Vending machine was priced fair. No card reader issues on locks. Good value for price."
