"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. Staff were helpful, you got a welcome drink too. As a gold member we got an upgrade but not sure on its improvement over standard one. Worse view and same interior. Bed was quite...

"Loved the pool. Parking was great and easy. Location was easy to find. Staff were helpful. Showers were very small. Bathrooms smelled a bit - plumbing problems perhaps need fixing. Hotel is a bit dated and needs a renovation."

"One of the jewels of our stay in Gerace. Casa Ferrari ushers you in from the street through an old garden teeming with blooming plants. Once in the apartment, old luxe surrounds you from the kitchen with its bergamot and other citrus marmalades and in the cozy and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The crown of it all is the balcony, where breakfast if served in the morning, that will usher you onto one of the most beautiful views of the Ionian coast, from Gerace down to the beach.. unbelievable!!...

"The outside of the property is a bit deceiving, it looks a little plain, but the inside is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location for anyone travelling in the area."

"The hotel was very pretty. The rooms could have use a paint job but we had a great balcony and bathroom was big. We did go off season so there wasn’t a lot of people. I was disappointed that the fountain outside wasn’t on & the ones inside. The staff was mediocre at best. When we checked out there was no one at the front desk and we just left our keys. So our experience wasn’t the best. "

"Nonostante fosse indicato su hotels.com che il check-in fosse fino alle 23.00, siamo stati obbligati ad arrivare alle 22.30 come se fosse l'ultimo momento per poter entrare, anche perché era già un favore che ci aveste fatto visto che avreste dovuto chiudere alle 22.00. "We ended our Europe trip with a week at Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara and it was the perfect choice. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a great place to unwind. You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade. The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday."
