Bay Gardens Hotel

Bay Gardens Hotel

8/10 Good
"We were at Bay Gardens for 7 days and it was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful, our rooms were clean and spacious. We had a fridge but no microwave. Breakfast was always delicious, dinner was a little expensive for us so we ate at local restaurants most evenings. Banks, supermarket, pharmacy/drug stores, fast food and local restaurants were 5-9 minute walk. We felt safe walking at any time of the day or night. Laundry room was old but functional and could use with some upgrades. There is only 1 washer and dryer on our block. We did use the gym which was small and we had it to ourselves each time. By the way, expect to pay for the washing and drying (you'll get tokens). Tours can be organized from this property and were great!! (They were on the expensive side for me with a family of 3 $800 for 2 tours but the tours include a lot- remember the tips). Yes I would definitely go back because of the people and how welcome and easy going it felt."

Windjammer Landing Resort and Residences

Windjammer Landing Resort and Residences

8/10 Good
"The entire staff at Windjammer were excellent! They take customer service seriously. The property is built into the mountains facing the Caribbean coast of St. Lucia. A lovely view with every glance. It is certain that your villa will be located on a hill and you will certainly require a shuttle to get to the lobby, which is the heart of the resort. It is paradise… However, stay long enough and you’ll notice cracks in the façade. The shuttle pickup from your villa starts to take longer, sometimes up to 15 minutes; the TV in one room doesn’t work and after THREE phone calls, it never got fixed; they prioritize new guests; the menu is exactly the same daily. Papa Don restaurant was a disappointment- having traveled Italy extensively and being from NY/CT, I’m a good judge of Italian food. The Masala restaurant was an exception due to the authenticity of the head chef- Vikram Singh. All the restaurant food we tasted were overpriced including a 22 USD scoop of ice cream. You get nickel & dimed for everything. That cookie jar in the lobby next to the water, next to the espresso station- “What’s your room number?”-not complimentary. Be prepared for overpriced tampons, topical antibiotics and impotent itch-relief gels. I took fire coral to the right thigh and only my knowledge as a physician saved me from a horrible vacation. Windjammer is part of LHW collection, luxury is not new to me, but higher price/cost does not relay luxury."

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa - Adults Only

8/10 Good
"Ti Kaye Resort & Spa was a fantastic experience, and the level of service is what really made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, Phillip was brilliant and made us feel genuinely welcome. Throughout our stay, the entire team was warm, attentive and always ready to help. We also took full advantage of the experiences Ti Kaye offers. The tour of the south of the island was excellent, and our boat trip up the coast was easily one of the highlights of our time in Saint Lucia. The captain and crew were outstanding, the scenery was spectacular, and seeing the island from the water is something we would absolutely recommend. The wine tasting at the resort was another lovely experience and very well done. There were a couple of issues worth mentioning. We specifically chose Ti Kaye because it is an adults-only resort, so we were disappointed that there were children on the beach every day. We understand they were not staying at the resort and that the beach itself is public, but it does take away somewhat from the adults-only atmosphere we had deliberately chosen. We also had an issue during our rum tour when our driver left us. Not ideal, but what impressed us was how quickly Ti Kaye responded once they knew what had happened. They immediately stepped in, sorted everything out and made sure we were taken care of. That response says a lot about the quality of the team. Those points are the only things keeping us from calling it a flawless five-star experience."
