The staff were excellent (i arrived with food poisoning from elsewhere) and the plain food that the chef made for me to help me recover was utterly ideal. The bungalows are well appointed with excellent air conditioning (much needed), the grounds are filled with interesting plants having been designed and planted by the owners and everything is immaculate. The bar and restaurant area are imaginately designed and the menu delivered by a talented young chef they lured from Tana. He has his own ideas based on Malagasy and international cuisine and quite frankly, having spent 7 weeks in Mada, it’s the best food...
