Not a great room as had a room at back with a dirty courtyard view. Room very dark. Nicer rooms obviously face the front. Mattress had seen better days- could feel the springs. Staff were very friendly. Great location

Quaint hotel in the historic center of Antwerp
Pleasant staff. The hotel is located in a car free zone, so we were aware of this ahead of time, and parked close by in a modern well-lit underground garage, and rolled our bags about a block to the hotel.

Ok for the location
We liked the central location, next to the cathedral and many restaurants. Paid parking 4minutes walking from the hotel. We could hear other guests talking and elevator noise.

Comfortable hotel with a good central location.
The hotel is well located in the heart of Antwerp and for those going to Darklands it only a 20 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was extra but there was a good selection and plenty of everything and well worth the money. The only slight down side was its a bit of a noisy hotel, you can hear other guests, the lift and other external noise. The hot water also takes a long time to come through, but when it does its perfect. Even with these two issues, I would definitely stay again.

O-so unique
The hotel is in the center of the city in a pedestrianonly area. cons: you have to schlep your bags over cobblestone for at least 700ft., can be noisy from people in the steeet, it's a historic building with a very small footprint. Pros: you are right THERE, staff was exceptionally helpful (a special shout out and thank you to Charline), minor issues were addressed right away, room was modern and unique, and the brwakdast was amazingly good, great variety and quality. Would definitely recommend.

Very good hotel to stay .
The hotel was in a good location. Next to shops restaurants bars and cafes and not too far from many attractions. Check in was quick & efficient. Rooms quiet. However the internet connection failed the perfect 10 for me. Unsecure network and super slow to connect when it was working.

Kinda loud, great location
The location is prime. With that prime location comes noise. We prepared. Walls were the thinnest of all hotels we stayed in, 10 nights in Belgium. Also there are USB ports next to the bed. Big win. Heater didn’t work and was quite chilly overnight. No 24 hour desk.

Great hotel! Room had amazing view and was very well laid out. Great bathroom and very nice bed for the price. A great choice for Antwerp, very close to most things.

Overall good stay
This hotel is located in the center of town. There are plenty of places to eat and things to see. Everything is within walking distance. The room itself was small but the bed was comfortable and the AC work. What else can you ask for during the hot summer. If you’ve never traveled to Europe and are from anywhere in the U.S. make sure to get their breakfast. Reason i recommend this is because most of Europe does not wake up before 10 AM so there are no places to get breakfast. Because of COVID restrictions they couldn’t offer a buffet. Instead they give you one of everything that they would normally have available. Which was perfect. One thing to note, you can hear people in the other rooms. So if you’re a light sleeper..bring your ear plugs.

Great location! I used to complimentary earplugs one night; Hotelo is at the heart of the action. Loved the view of the cathedral from my window. Loved that hhr window opened. Awesome, unique decor. The bathtub was wonderful! So nice to have a complimentary welcome beverage. Staff were very helpful with my reservations in flux. I chose to return to Hotelo for two more nights and look forward to returning again. Loved the bar/cafe and its decor and the sidewalk tables, too. Delicious tapas. So nice to have the elevator. Thanks for the daily complimentary water. Great value for my money!

Really nice boutique hotel with lovely rooms and good service at reception. It’s in a great location, which does also bring with it a certain noise level unfortunately, but that’s to be expected. Definitely recommended by me.

Great experience, have to park blocks away
We had a small room but it was last minute and a good price. It is RIGHT in the middle of the old city. Which was a positive. Room was good enough. Service was friendly. But don’t trust google direction when driving. There is no way to drive up to the hotel which confused the heck out of me. But plenty of parking in garages 2 blocks away.

HotelO is centrally located with heaps of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions all around. Public transport can be reached within minutes from the hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the single small elevator that is used to transport guests and service staff to 5 floors. I will be back.
