This property is very rundown and many things did not work (television for one). It was extremely noisy. Would not stay there again.

Don't stay in Arco if you can travel further
Probably best place to stay in Arco, which has a little bit of interesting history, but next time we'd proceed further to Idaho Falls for more lodging and restaurant options.

Arrived at the motel and see this note on the office door saying to ring the bell once and to then walk in. Office door was locked, and nobody answered the door. We left and came back later about 30 minutes. Once again, we rang the bell and door was still locked but the front desk person did open the door for us without even looking at us or acknowledging us. Wow, not a friendly greeting at all. Bathtub faucet was constantly leaking. Floor really creaks a lot when walking on the floor. Noisiest motel floor I've even walked on! I was concerned I was going to wake up my wife in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom. It's an okay motel considering there isn't much of any lodging in this town.

The room was clean but dated. We found that the sink leaking underneath. It did the job for our trip to Craters of the Moon.

Well, I don’t recall being rude. But I guess telling you you can’t check in when rooms are not done being rude. Don’t expect to check in at 11 when check in is at 3.

Sorta an oasis in the middle of the desert
This hotel is totally decent considering the remoteness of the location. Peggy - the owner or manager - greeted me with her dogs and a friendly smile. She provided useful information about local restaurants and attractions. The room itself was clean and decently maintained. I liked the comfortable chair for lounging as opposed to simply using the bed. The room did include a fridge, but lacked any other amenities. No coffee or hot pot. So - if you find yourself in the middle of the desert, this place is definitely serviceable.

Thank You Brian for your review. Don’t forget the microwave. Also we do not have coffee in the rooms that’s correct, but I do have coffee for everyone in the soda and coffee room just few doors down from office. Safe travels and Ty again for staying with us.

Older hotel, but clean, and had what we needed. We stayed for 2 nights. It was very quiet and easy to find. Good, convenient location for sightseeing around Arco.

Although we had a confirmed booking when we arrived we were told that the motel was full and there was no room available. We were sent down the road to a relations motel. Still waiting for a refund as we had or paid. Obviously a scam. Be very wary.

Why would you get a refund?? You stayed at our sister hotel and I DID NOT CHARGE YOU HERE..You paid at the Hotel I sent you to. Sometimes overbookings happen and it’s not our fault it’s booking agent overbooking us We are not a scam we did not charge you twice for this room.

I am sorry you feel this way, My road is plowed and it is clear of snow and ice where my guests park. If you got here when we got a foot of snow then there is nothing that could be done until I could get a plow truck in the whole town was struggling to get snow cleared. My prices are around the same as any other hotel or Motel in town.

My complaint is with cleanliness, there were several death large moths everywhere and toothpaste stains in the sink, if they fix this issue it would be a great option in the area

It's a small town without pomp and circumstance but the property was relatively clean and the owner who checked us in was friendly. You're not paying for a 5 star hotel so don't expect that kind of accommodation. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet just what you need for a good nights rest.
