"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "This hotel property has the potential to be an amazing stay along the beach front.
Very disappointed lack of communication from the reception staff. The property is run down, broken pavement, untidy around the building and the lift area. Loud noise music every night till 1am… It wasn’t cheap to stay!! Housekeeping was clean but unpleasant smell through the air conditioning. Strained carpets throughout the building and room.
Have stayed there before thought may have been improved. I will never...

"The outside of the property is a bit deceiving, it looks a little plain, but the inside is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. "One of the jewels of our stay in Gerace. Casa Ferrari ushers you in from the street through an old garden teeming with blooming plants. "Iilara who runs the establishment is an absolute sweetheart. Breakfast is fantastic as they make all their pastries in house. Rooms are newly renovated, great showers, and comfortable beds. Beach is a 3 minute walk. Location is quite central. "

"We had only one night to stay in this hotel that seemed to be a five star in old days on our way back to Rome. Our room was very clean and spacious with a very nice view of the sea. I also enjoyed using the indoor swimming pool. The staff were also very nice and helpful. the breakfast was very limited and I think it was because not many people were staying at our time. By the way there was a pizzeria restaurant close by called Bambu. Their food was excellent "

"The crusty silver haired gent who assisted us during our stay is a character with a heart of gold. Our room had a spectacular view of the coastline from the balcony. The bed was firm, the shower hot and strong, the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. On street parking is very limited but we got a park pretty close to the accommodation so ...happy. The ZTL wasn't activated but the streets are very narrow - we chose not to try but walked the streets and there's plenty of eateries around."
