"We stayed two non-contiguous nights. We first was greeted by Milagros when we arrived early at 6:20 AM. She smiled and was very nice to help us store our luggage. We went out and came back around noon, and our room was ready. The room is very clean and updated, and the hotel is very close (less than one block) to the main square. At the top, there is a nice view of the cathedral and surrounding area. We left early the next day and stored our luggage again for a 2 days 1 night tour. Milagros was there and helped us with everything. When we came back the 2nd time, Jose was at the reception and he told us our room was ready and our luggage was in our room already. When we asked for a grab and go breakfast due to our early departure, he happily obliged. He even left a personal note to me that I carried it with me back home. They both are the fine examples of the Peruvian hospitality. "

"I got there at 5:30am and accept my arrival without charging me anything. Breakfast was simple but delicious and fresh. Room was clean. On the other hand, the water of the shower was cold so you have to let the water running between 5 and 10 minutes to get warm. When you know it, it’s less dramatic! Some night we’re noisy because the music of a bar close by; but I had ear plugs so I didn’t suffer too much! "

"This is a modern, clean property with great views and in a good location for local hikes and visiting Colca Canyon. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped us organise some trips and provided towels for bathing in the hot springs (about 20 min walk). The only downside of staying in Yanque is that there are very limited options for dining. The hotel restaurant was ok but breakfast options were limited."
