"Very friendly and hospitable staff. They greeted us with juice, personal introductions and help with luggage upon arrival, and even washed our car overnight! Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette, crepes, and fresh fruit. We had a bit of trouble getting there due to Google maps sending us on a roundabout route (very narrow dirt road) when we should have gone straight from the main paved road to the front entrance. Overall, a pleasant overnight. "

"The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. "What a great place! Huge gardens with birds and monkeys. Staff were exceptional. A perfect retreat before or after flying...good for a few days. We enjoyed the guided forest walk and massages. Food was very good. Rooms are lovely. Highly recommend "
