I feel as if we should have received a refund for at least one night. Out of the four night stay, the power went out for an hour the second night, and we had no hot water for the rest of the stay. Offering a return for the portion of the trip that we could not shower would display a huge amount of trust to future clients.
I will say that the staff was very kind and helpful, but the owner needs to revisit this scenario and do what is right.

Room was extremely clean after each time housekeeping was in. Bed was a bit firm for me and staff added a topper which helped a ton and made sleeping much easier.
Front desk staff was always helpful, accommodating and friendly.
Breakfast was good, delicious fresh made coffee and the staff was great.
The location was good and just a short walk to the centre and to the Vatican.
No complaints, every staff member was so accommodating and helpful, that’s what really stood out to me the most.

Front desk staff as well breakfast staff were AMAZING.
Location location location
It may be a small hotel and as you come in may feel discouraged (by the extent of the hotel) nevertheless, location warmth and knowledge of staff at arrival and during breakfast is undoubtedly a gem. Yes, rooms could be modern, they are traditionally Roman, nevertheless they have everything you may need. Have stayed at other locations and by far, price, service and location win.

Great location. Lovely staff. Amazingly cool pool. Outdated decor: while the hotel has been clearly updated the style of decor does not meet contemporary 5 star L peer hotels. Similarly the breakfast buffet is equally under par.
