I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My friend left his wallet back at the hotel and they were very helpful in locating it and mailing it to his forwarding address. I must mention Renko in the staff who was instrumental in finding the wallet, thank you so much. The hotel itself is great, very helpful staff, amazing onsen and nice facilities. Also very close to Asahidake for those who want to hike or ski in the winter.

Das La Vista Daisetsuzan schafft es trotz schöner Lage und freundlichem Personal nicht, ein stimmiges Gesamtpaket abzuliefern. Das Hotel weiß schlichtweg nicht, welche Identität es verkörpern möchte. Das stets bemühte und freundliche Personal kann das fehlende Konzept nicht auffangen. Der stark abgenutzte Bauzustand in Kombination mit der dauerhaften, unpassenden Beschallung im Onsen und in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen mit europäischer Klassikmusik sorgt dafür, dass der Aufenthalt die Erwartungen deutlich verfehlt und schon als Lärmbelästigung empfunden werden kann. Gut gemeint ist leider nicht gut gemacht und so schreitet der Verfall weiter voran. Ich würde hier nie wieder buchen, aber hier oben hat man leider keine große Auswahl.

We had a great time at this nice but slightly outdated hotel. Needs renovations. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. There’s nothing nearby so recommend to get the breakfast/dinner package. Onsen was lovely. We stayed two nights to go up the mountain and do some hiking and it was perfect for that as it’s 10 min walk from the ropeway.

If I could give zero stars I would. I could give a list but I’ll simply just say that after our first night of a 4 night stay my wife became ill and we were instructed by her primary care provider to move from this remote location to a place closer to definitive medical care. We had to cut our stay short after the first night. The hotel said that because we booked through Expedia/Hotels.com that they couldn’t issue a refund… I had purchased trip insurance through Hotels.com and they denied our claim because we didn’t visit a doctor in Japan in person… This hotel is an hour or more away from any restaurants and they only take reservations for their restaurants days ahead… there was no food when we arrived so we ate microwave cup of noodles for dinner… in Japan… I did not recommend this hotel and I do not recommend booking through Hotels.com

여기 너무 좋아요! 숙소로 들어가고 나오는길도 눈쌓인 숲속을 지나오며 여기가 천국인가싶고 숙소는 온천을 여러번 이용하면서 피로도 풀고 제대로 설경 속 온천여행이였어요 숙소주변에 식당이 없는 대신 숙소에서 무료라면제공 무료와인제공 무료커피제공 서비스 너무너무 만족했어요 숙소내에 일본식레스토랑 프랑스식레스토랑도 있어요 적극추천해요!!

객실도 분위기 있고 편안했어요. 목욕도 좋았고요. 도미인계열 좋아하는데. 라비스타하코다테보다 여기가 왠지 더 맘에 들어요. 식사는 데판야끼인데 맛있고 니혼슈도 좋았어요. 저녁이 늦어져 놀이감으로 좀더 놀기도하고 와인은 숙성되지않고 너무 신선해서 쥬스같았지만 즐거웠어요.
