Very disappointed. It seems like the hotel gave up on maintenance or keeping their business running. Shops, restaurants, and even room services are closed. The main reason to choose this city to visit and choose this hotel was for the hot springs. The hotel hot spring facilities close every Tuesday which hasnt been displayed clearly at the time when i book this hotel. They charge seperate fees for admissions. The hot spring last admission closes at 7:30 pm and they start cleaning even though their sign says the last admission is 8:30 pm. I regert to choose this hotel to stay and definitely want to warn people to avoid this hotel. I would say this was the worst hotel i ever stayed. And their carpet is absolutely disgusting and dirty. The front desk clerk (lady) can improve the customer service mannerism.

The amenities are outdated and the hot springs were disappointing. There was an extra fee to use the hot spring as well as the gym despite being a guest. Would not recommend this accommodation.

Never try this hotel, especially for breakfast. It really terrible one. They advertised that the former five-star hotel chef prepared the breakfast, but it was a shame on the chef. The staff never greeted the customers when they met in the hallway. The facility is very old and looks like they never take care of it properly.

I really enjoyed that there was access to the hot springs within the hotel. The location was also great. However, I didn't like that there were extra charges for EVERYTHING. Using the gym, the laundry service, even a toothbrush came with an extra charge. I wouldn't have minded some of the charges so much if they had mentioned there is an added fee under their amenities list.

Very clean and friendly staff, helpful to foreigners, and a calm peaceful atmosphere. Bathhouses were clean and amazing! Very responsible.

Just an average hotel nothing special. Hotel is kinda old and has an old smell too it. Outside looks cool with the vines on it has a european style vibe I guess. If youre like me an love peace and quiet then maybe this is not the hotel for you as it was quite loud in the evening from the beer garden outside. Also I noticed wires hanging down from the hallway at one point so yeah.

The bed is rock hard, and the pillow is flat. It was difficult to sleep comfortably. Also, as you can see by the photos, the hotel is very outdated. Good point. The location is good, there are many towels, there is WiFi, a tv, a bath and a cheap Korean bath house.

Onyang is famous with the best hot spring in South Korea, but there are few hotel above rate 3 at onyang city. Onyang Hot Spring Hotel is one of recommenedble hotel that if you want rest more comportable, but this is not good as you expect. Guest rooms is too old style and bath at guest room--No wonder that it will collapse just after you use it,since it's too old and some stinky smell remains.

Aging hotel but still in good shape and a good value for what it is. Had a decent gym and is all connected to the hot springs so easy to use them. 40% off hot Springs admission for hotel guests.

Overall good experience. Asan is a little quieter but you can find some thing to do at night. With that said most people go for the hot spring and if that's your plan then the hotel is great. They have they're own spa which includes an outdoor hot spring. Hotel itself is nice and clean.

We enjoyed this hotel overall. The price was a little steep, but we enjoyed the location of the hotel and it was easy to access the town. We traveled by bus from Daejeon City and for other travelers from the same area, you will most likely need to take a taxi to the hotel from the bus terminal. If you go to the KTX station the taxi ride is much longer. Asan is a great town to go to if you want to relax at a hot spring. There are plenty of choices in town. We received a 40% for the one associated with our hotel.

The convenience of the location (a 3-block walk from the Onyang Station; right next to the high street and to a large, open-air traditional market) can't be beat. The hot springs, spa, and gym facilities are just underneath the hotel; this would be great in the winter since you don't need to leave the hotel to access them.

There is really nothing special about this hotel. The rooms are ok but our room had a musty smell, the bedding was old and stained and the door didn't automatically latch.

A disappointing stay ~ Never Again!
Had booked this hotel based on another traveller's review that the spa facilities were very good. This was not so. Old spa (run down and not clean) and old hotel (even newer section of hotel had seen better days). Twin room was actually quite comfortable with comfortable beds but room was not cleaned properly (not vacuumed or dusted). Only one restaurant available with breakfast buffet being served till 9:30 am. Closed from 9:30-11:30 so if you are like me and don't want to eat buffet that early in the morning, you are out of dining options. Front desk staff could not recommended any other restaurants in the area. As for the spa, it is not foreigner friendly. I had hoped that it being a large, tourist or tourist-type hotel, the spa would have been more receptive to non-Korean guests, but it wasn't. To my dismay and without going into detail, my daughter and I were accosted and physically manhandled. For these reasons, I never intend to stay here again and I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel.

오래된 호텔인데 냄새도 안나고 조용하고 좋았어요. 특히 아침조식 뷔페가 종류도 다양하고 너무 맛있었어요 주위에 포토존도 옛날 문화제가 보존돼 있어 너무 좋았어요 온천도호텔내부에있어서즐거운여해미어습니다

냄새가 나서 룸스프레이를 사서 뿌렸어요. 제일 충격적이었던 건 형광등이 없다는 점... 전등 세 개 있는데 그 중 하나는 고장났고 밤 되면 눈이 아파요. 부모님 모시고 갔는데 컨디션이 너무 별로라서 실망이었습니다. 그치만 역시 온천은 최고였어요. 노천탕이 정말 좋았어요.
