"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start.
This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. The actual room that was allocated to me, was situated overlooking a busy duelled road, with a...
"Location was great as it’s only a short walk to the seafront. Apartment is located by a crossroads therefore could be loud when busy as well as people walking past the windows but knew that when we booked it would be
Apartment was spacious so fine for us, a family of 5. Had issue with WiFi but they were helpful. We stayed in flat 4 which was ground floor so ideal carrying stuff to and from
My only criticism is no washing machine, leaving us with wet clothes from the beach and every time you...
"Fabulous building which has a lot of history attached to it.
Louise and Sean were excellent hosts and our apartment accommodation had everything we needed."
"I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed"
"The Oratory is a quaint beautifully presented property ideal for easy access to the moors and all the excellent local walks. Princetown has two excellent pubs within easy walking distance of The Oratory serving good food. Highly recommend a stay here. I will be back"
"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...
"Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "

"Comfy Bed well presented rooms although furniture a little dated and well worn . Food was excellent good choice on menu in evening and beautifully cooked and presented. Waiting staff were efficient and friendly. Good breakfast choice range from full English continental or cereal and toast . "
"Parking can be a problem as has limited spaces at Hotel, how ever side street parking wasn’t a problem… All in all a very pleasant stay , would recommend. "
"A decent hotel with good, spacious rooms for a family of four. The staff were lovely and the breakfast options were great. My children especially enjoyed being able to make their own waffles with Nutella. We had a great stay."
"Ignore the bad reviews. This is the second year running I’ve came here with my children. The hotel is clean and the staff are really polite and helpful it’s cheaper than the other hotels in the area as it’s being refurbished the rooms are decent and lovely views if you get a sea room. "
