"An impressive modern hotel in an amazing position on South Sands, only a narrow road stands between it and an excellent beach. The views across to the far shore are truly spectacular. Access is down a very narrow road with passing places. ( typical of this part of Devon). Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and well equipped bedrooms. Beautiful coastal walks from the door. "

"A very friendly hotel very clean a little run down need a little tlc but overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back. "

"From the moment we checked in everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bed VERY comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice, everything very fresh, continuously refilled and area kept very clean. Parking in car park opposite hotel was very convenient. All in all a great stay and I will return!"

"Delicious choice of breakfast. It was not clear on the booking that dogs were not welcome in all rooms therefore we had to pay extra for a deep clean. Not the end of the world but annoying start to our stay "

"Would not describe the as a Hotel,no human check in ,room and hotel nothing like the websire, breakfast and bar ,restaurant were an option when we booked but was later ammended Except breakfast still advertised that morning but wasn't available, No public area to sit,no bar open even though they advertised beer garden ,very dull place,we stayed 20 mins then left ,will be contacting hotel for refund "
