"We loved the hotel. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the sea."

"Where do I start..... Parking is not clearly signed so not sure where was ok to park. Got to reception and no-one was there just a sign saying please ring this number. So when I rang the lady said that she will be right there and we stood there waiting about 10 mins when a man then asked if everything was ok. There was lots of post on the side. We were then given our door code as they do not do keys. We then went to our room which was on the 2nd floor the lift didn't work. When we then got to our room the code didn't work either. So had to go back down and sort a new code while we were there we also mentioned the lift didn't work and was told that we had to close the door ourselves. We then finally got into our room where it was cold. There was very little toilet paper and no-one to then ask for some as there wasn't anyone at the deck. The floor boards move. So every time I got out of bed they felt like they were going to collapse under my feet. We where kindly asked to be quick after 9o'clock when we signed in to respect other guests. At 9.45pm there was guy from the hotel grinding the metal emergency stairs that was attached to the wall outside our room. The bed had an old mattress that the springs had gone so not comfortable. Then we went down in the morning to check out again no-one was there to see us off. Overall a terrible experience."

"We stayed here as we were travelling to Cornwall so a quick stop over. The room we had was a classic king bed. The room was small in comparison to most hotels with that standard of room - very narrow entry and distance between the end of the bed and the wall. The shower was extremely small making it difficult to actually get in and out. The room was very hot - no air conditioning so we opened the window to at least have some air circulation and only a duvet on the bed so somewhat uncomfortable sleep. Meals were substantial, breakfast choices were great and the restaurant well set up. Some staff very helpful and welcoming."

"Best place I’ve stayed in a long while. Comfortable king size bed with continental quilt, rain fall shower. Mini fridge had complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Great sound proofing, once I switched off the a/c heating was in prefect silence. Tv only has freeview, but not an issue these days. Breakfast wide choice of things. Very helpful and friendly staff. "

"This was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind . tranquil from start to finish . Spa was amazing , food was delicious and the cosy king room was perfect in size with a very comfy bed. Staff were kind and always smiling. The only thing I would comment on was the cost of parking. Seems a little expensive "
