"Nice location if you have a vehicle. Good pub next door. A bit outdated and u nder renovations so pool, gym, etc not available. Staff very helpful and pleasant"

"There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back."

"Close to the Uni; parking, clean rooms, breakfast included; good price; check-in convenience"

"Couldn't fault our stay."

"It is an older style building, but was clean, central and really good value. The setting and gardens are great and brilliant for dogs."

"Lovely friendly pub serving excellent breakfast."

"Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill."

"Beautiful grounds and castle room. Don’t recommend staying next to the elevator though as it was quite loud"
