"A grand hotel with lovely views however whilst the public areas are rather splendid, some areas do look a little tired and in need of updating. This didn't detract from our stay though. Plentiful and varied breakfast and a great location"

"Rooms nice amd clean. Reasonable amount of parking. Nice sea view from the breakfast room. Some wind noise on breezy days, noticeable outside my room, no 7. Large bar with some functions at weekends, but the noise wasnt too intrusive. Overall an enjoyable stay"

"Lovely clean tidy hotel that looks like it's just been recently updated, the rooms are really nice also has a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff were friendly helpful and very attentive. Close to the sea and a 10 minute walk to the town, plenty of places to dine, shop and have a drink. Definitely will be going here again and would recommend this hotel. "

"Our stay at the Belgrave Sands Hotel was brilliant (as usual). Our rooms were spotless and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this gem of a hotel"

"The suite was spacious with ample storage for clothing however there was not enough towels in the room. We requested for more towels and extra pillows three times during our stay however this was not provided to us despite the staff promising to bring them to our room. The spa / swimming pool was poor, the jacuzzi didn’t work and the water in the swimming pool and jacuzzi was cold. The stream room was out of order and there was no lockers or towels in the spa area. Would not recommend if your intention is mainly to use the spa facilities. "

"Received a text stating that access codes for the property would be provided shortly after 14:00 for check in at 15:00. Phoned at 14:30 and left message. Left 2 subsequent messages with no call back or codes. Emailed at 15:20 having still not received access codes or a call back stating that if codes were not received by 15:30 I would be expecting a refund. At 15:30 left to find another hotel and just as we were about to check in there, the text with codes arrived with an email and a very incincere apology, blaming the problem on a system error. Went back to the property, by this time very cold and entered. The property itself was OK, but it was cold and took a long time to warm up, which was not at all welcoming. Delays enering meant that we missed the limited opportunity to enjoy the nice views."
