Hotel delle Nazioni has been our family’s home away from home in Rome.
The staff have become family in the 8 years we’ve been loyal customers - pre & post pandemic.
Its new rooftop penthouse suites are exquisite and just a stone’s throw away from Trevi foundation.
Surprisingly, its in-house restaurant is really so understated. Tourists fuss over the horrible tourist trap restos around the Trevi area when this hotel’s resto actually serves authentic, QUALITY Roman cuisine with a contemporary twist.
Shame people don’t give it a try.
Makes every chaotic Rome trip a relaxing home base every time 🙏

Last resort overnight
Gloomy and run down dark carpets and dark chipped furniture. Did not enjoy one but. Hotel next door didn’t open until 7 and it did not look promising. WiFi did not work and poor 4g signal

An OK place to stop..
Room was generally clean but run down. Smelled of cigarette smoke as evidenced by butts on flat roof outside. Stained carpet and very noisy with main road outside. Bits of furniture trim missing. Pool was good but tiny. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK. Bit disappointing really.

Checked in late at night, but needed to pay local tax directly at check in and to access the building ... payment system didn't recognise foreign credit card. Fortunately 2 very kind men paid for me which was lucky as I had 2 tired kids in the car. Bed linen and bathroom clean, but loads of stains ...
