Perfect base for visiting Athens
Amazing stay in Athens in early November. The city is stunning, the weather was wonderful and Estia boutique hotel was just perfect as a base for visiting the different sites or for having lunch/dinner in a nice restaurant or for a trip on the islands

The room and amenities were on par with a 5 star chain hotel with a boutique feel. Breakfast is not your standard American fare but hot and cold options including cooked vegetables, eggs, cold cuts, cheese selections, tomato/cucumber salad, pastries, etc. The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. They coordinated transfers, gave recommendations on dining options based on our preferences and directions to various attractions around town. They gave suggestions that made to trip so much more than we expected. Would definitely book our next visit in Athens with them again.

Stunningly beautiful room, delicious food, exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. The neighborhood around the hotel is not the cleanest but it was very walkable and close to main attractions. Also the city tax was only 1 euro so that was a relief. We loved it.

Very noisy street traffic, no view whatsoever, be prepared to see lots of drug usage nearby on your walk to/from lunch/dinner, room was tiny, and we cannot rate the breakfast as the personnel were not there as planned.

Whilst Athens today has much unsightly graffiti that makes many areas look very seedy especially just outside the city’s central core, Estia Boutique Hotel is a glowing gem and highly recommended for comfort, price, accommodations, and amazing staff. Marina and Christelle at the front desk were incredibly helpful, friendly, engaging, and informative, answering all our questions and more. And to make sure each new day gets off to a wonderful start, the included breakfast prepared each day provides a tasty and wide variety of freshly prepared favourites, pastries, and local treats. Lastly, ask about some close-by eating and bar establishments that are inexpensive with great food clearly endorsed by local patrons. All in all, a delightful place to use as your home base while in Athens!!
