"Started badly. First person at Reception wasn't pleasant or helpful and totally lackluster. She left us standing to wait for a manager. I offered to let her serve others waiting behind me. She said it wasn't necessary.
Breakfast was missing cutlery.
Room was clean. Shower didn't have hot water, just luke warm. There were no amenities in bathroom. 3 tissues in the box? I was disappointed because I remembered it being nicer and worth the price. "

"The Residence Inn is within the area we always travel to. The rooms are great, the carpet, the tile, the tops of all tables and dressers, bathroom, kitchen, etc. always very clean. We never have been there when everything was not clean and in order. The Staff are always friendly and helpful. Every hotel or motel should be like this one. We have stayed at other places in the Jackson, TN area before, but when we found this one we don't bother to go anywhere else."

"The staff was nice but check-in isn’t until 3pm so we had to leave and come back later.
The electric window blinds were confusing to work. Had to call the front desk.
We requested a handicapped room and it was large and comfortable but one nozzle in the roll in shower was loose and water spilled all over the bathroom floor so I had to dry that up. The wall plugs between the beds were loose so our plugs wouldn’t work. Other than that, the room was comfortable. We didn’t use the pool or get the breakfast. "

"Room 218 the shower would not drain you are taking a shower and the water is over your ankles. Hold down the handle on the toilet so it would flush. No coffee maker in the room. All usb charging ports will not work. We were there a year ago nothing changed. No clock in the room."

"It's an older motel, but it's being renovated. The heat lamp bulbs in the bathroom were missing and you could see a little age in the bathroom, but it was clean. No mold or mildew on the shower curtains, that was great. The room was spacious and clean. Nee flooring in the room and the sink was in great shape. Ice bucket had a crack in the bottom, but that was replaced. I would recommend some sort of black out shade for the window. While the current shade does a good job of blocking most light, a decent amount does still get through.
It's a great place for an overnight stop to rest. The room was comfortable the a/c unit worked great. Patty's Restaurant is across the street and you will be full when you leave.

"This was a very nice surprise stay. Beautiful old building, the Chapel is lovely. The white linen breakfast was first class...the Speak Easy food was great as well....the only thing I would suggest...a step up to the bed (for the old people)....it is very high off the floor and hard to navigate for someone older, however the bed was very comfortable. We had a great time speaking to the owner who was just so sweet. I would give the whole experience an 10 for sure....."

"it’s old and rundown. We killed a spider in the room. There were dead flies in the window. One of those big, flying bug things was dead and fell out of the curtains when we went to close them.
