Atzitzihuacán Holidays

The good: elevators, air conditioning, nice shower, free breakfast on lovely rooftop. The bad: under renovation so stairwells blocked, smelled of paint, parquet floor was coming up in the middle of the room entrance and a bath mat was put over it. Staff could help with check in but not oriented for recommendations. English was a bit rough (better than my Spanish but not what I was expecting at this price point

We were delighted to spend one night at this glorious hotel! A throw back in time with a beautiful stained glass ceiling and the feeling of opulence all around. Nothing makes you feel more alive than waking up in the middle of the historic district right next to the grand plaza. Taking breakfast in the Terrace reserved just for hotel guests overlooking the National Palace was a welcome treat. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Having this beautiful hotel as an outpost with a busy day in the historic district was perfect! Lovely staff, exceptional service- all around impressive.

I hope that I will get my security deposit $2,000 pesos everything else was Excellent. But the time to get the deposit back in my checking account is too long. Thanks!

Room was clean and comfortable. For the price it was really nice. Breakfast was excellent. It can get noisy at night, walls are thin, so we would have to have every door and window shut with the fan running to drown out the hallway noise. Be aware no a/c, and windows look out into other rooms so you mostly have to have them closed at all times. Location was great and overall convenient.
