"My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Jean-Paul & Genevieve in their gorgeous B&B. Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. The guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully restored substantial village property, with great comfort and decor, as well as a very refreshing pool in which to cool down. "We arrived in Carcassonne on a beautiful sunny day, the hotel is beautiful, and perfectly located just a very short walk from the city walls. We checked in and Stefan was wonderful, we had issues with our car, he rang a local garage and even got us booked in. Our room was stunning with extremely comfortable bed - we had a room with the hot tub, which was perfect temperature, we ended up staying an extra night while the car was being fixed, which gave us the opportunity to explore the old town further, there is an excellent selection of restaurants and tapas available. There is also a secure car park at the rear of the hotel We would highly recommend Pont Levis Hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we felt truly welcome and Stefan was so kind and really made our stay awesome. Everyone speaks good English which was helpful as our French isn’t great! If you need a garage we recommend ets Baruteau in Carcassonne"

"What a lovely stay. One of the friendliest hotels I’ve recently stayed at. Room was large and comfortable. Facilities are great and we made use of the pool in the heat wave. Location is fabulous and only a 5 min walk to the medieval city. Thank you so much for a lovely stay."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The pool and Jacuzzi are unheated as Americans. We did not realize that Jacuzzis in France were unheated. We were put off by this until we discovered that this is pretty much a universal thing in France that Jacuzzis are unheated. They have a restaurant which we had an appetizer sampler and a few drinks and those were good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The plumbing was a little bit weird, and that we were on the ground floor, and when other people were using the plumbing, our sink would go lug, lug lug, and spit out a little bit of water. It gave it a little bit of character.. The most important thing is the view to Corazón is amazing, as far as public transportation which we used we did not rent a car. There are two convenient bus stops. There is one up at Corson, which is great for when you check in because then you’re carrying your bags downhill, and then there is a bus stop that is down the hill, which is convenient because again you’re not carrying your bags up the hill the buses in Corson run I think every 15 to 20 minutes, so very convenient location"
