"When I checked in, I was so tired that i dropped my wallet on the way to my room. Thankfully, hotel staff found it intact & knocked on my door 15 minutes later. I'm very grateful to them for literally saving my holiday!"

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "Cute but spacious cabins with views of the lake. Helpful and friendly staff. Limited restaurant menu as it was low season but excellent cooking and generous portions. Great breakfast buffet. "

"The owner was super friendly and accommodated an early check-in asy room was ready. Breakfast was good with a better selection than similar hotels. The room had air conditioning which I appreciated. I didn't try the pool or restaurant, though many people were eating there when I returned from a concert."

"The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise...

"A really lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Check in time a little restricted as we didn’t really have time to make use of the lovely looking pool before dinner which was also quite strict with timings, I do totally understand why though as the dinner was fabulous!"
