"Avila La Fonda Hotel is a wonderful hotel experience. The rooms are decorated with artful taste. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is amazingly attentive. Coupled with wine/appetizer reception, pie/ice cream before bed, morning coffee and croissants, and mid day salsa and chips and a welcome snack basket. The location is perfect. "We were very happy with our stay here. It was exceptionally clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen in our room was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The bathroom was nice a big and the king size bed was very comfy. We even had an ocean view from our little deck. There isn't a shuttle into Avila Beach but it is very close. A short walk down the driveway and across the bridge and you're there.
