Motel 6, Morro Bay hotels

"We stayed here overnight as one of the stops on our road trip. The premises were excellent, inside and out. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was helpful. Coffee and hot water was available all day in the lobby. There was a gym and was actually a decent size with maybe 3 treadmills and a Peloton bike, a bench, a bunch of dumb bells and another weight machine thing. Free breakfast from 6:30 - 10:00 am, which is always nice; there was cheese omelets, sausages and patties, potatoes, an assortment of bread, English muffins, cereal and yogurt, oatmeal and a make-your-own waffle station. Overall, great value for the rate we got it for (~$150). Also close to Morro Rock, which is ~1 hour easy walk roundtrip to and back to the hotel. "

"I booked at the last minute and was struggling to find a place in Morro Bay that accepted dogs and had two queen beds. I saw the great reviews but was skeptical because the price was so low. I was pleasantly surprised. We found a comfortable clean room with plenty of amenities (fridge, microwave, AC, complementary basic toiletries). It was not merely dog friendly but dog welcoming. They had a doggy welcome bag and a dog washing station (complete with dog shampoo). For a mere $12 more a night, we had a spectacular view of the Morro Rock. I couldn’t have asked for more."

"Hotel was really nice, Staff very helpful, building was remodeled but the construction is some old style. No A/C at all & our room had a chimney. The balcony was facing the Morro Rock. Breafast was some fruits, oatmeal, juices & croissants filled with ham & cheese or spinach & feta cheese. Of course coffe & juices. Was very comfortable."

"Check in was pleasant but they said that the WiFi was out, so no television or WiFi for a bit which is fine, wish I could have gotten a street view room instead of the parking lot. Staff was really nice, close to the warf and the beach areas. "

" I wanted to share a concern regarding my recent experience. My key stopped working, and when I went downstairs for assistance, I did not receive an apology. Instead, I was met with a smirk and told that this issue happens often, which I found unprofessional. Additionally, I was not satisfied with the service provided by Tessha. Based on my experience, she did not handle my concern appropriately, and it seemed she was not attentive to front desk responsibilities. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed, as customer service is very important. "

"We arrive early and I requested for early check in. I was told I would be called when room is available. Within an hour I was called that room was avaiiable for check in."

"Always a fun stay at the Madonna Inn. Repairs and sprucing up of property and rooms was definitely noticed this trip. Keep it up.... it is such a special place. "
