"I needed a quiet place to get away to focus on work, Stoneridge was perfect! The room had a beautiful king bed, armchair, and a separate desk with chair. I was able to turn on a few lamps at a time depending on the lighting I wanted, desk vs bed. In the bathroom I was pleasantly surprised to see Pharmacopia Bodycare toiletries! These all natural products were gentle yet effective!
The best part was that it was wonderfully quiet! If I wasn’t told there was construction outside, I wouldn’t have known. In my room at the back of the property, I was not able to hear construction noise. Also due to the location, just outside London off the 401, it was NOT packed with kids running around, yelling and playing.
The attached restaurant offered delectable Italian food, wine and delicious desserts. After ordering my food to go, to eat in my wood, I sat at the bar enjoying my wine, which my waitress transferred to a smaller glass to take with me. The Truffle Gnocchi was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!! In the morning, the included breakfast was fresh with many gluten free options. Omelettes or scrambles, turkey sausage with fresh grilled veggies, or pork bacon, pancakes and gluten free hash browns. Plus all the usual breads, cereals, and breakfast drinks.
The decor and artwork are more homey than modern, and some things are outdated.
