"We stayed recently with our 4yo granddaughter. The room was large and the beds comfortable, lovely big bathroom with a full size bath. The swimming pool was fabulous, set to a nice temperature and well maintained. Will definitely stay again"

"Had an easy, friendly check in, Views from reception were amazing. Had booked a balcony sea view room which was located down a flight of stairs. Room was large with seating and table. Bathroom a bit dated and noisy plumbing but shower over the bath was good. Nice big concrete balcony with lovely view over Portpatrick. Breakfast was delicious and all staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely stay at the Castle - the room was beautiful as was the food. The staff in the restaurant and those who welcomed us were amazing. Only disappointment was on check out we asked the history of the castle and were told by a very disinterested staff member to "look it up online"! We thought they would have been very proud to talk about the history and when it was built etc. Other than that we loved it!"
