"Amazing atmosphere during the Christmas holidays, perfect place to be for NYE. Fantastic view of the lake. Great service, wonderful breakfast buffet - the omelets were fantastic, and I loved the French toast with strawberry jam with whole strawberries that was just the right amount of sweet. The beds and pillows were very comfortable - there was one large and 1 small pillow. The big was way too high for me (it worked for my husband), but the small was perfect. My kids loved the free cookies in the evening from 5 to 6:30. There was complimentary tea and coffee, the only thing was that it was not available after around 10, and also, right when we were leaving, I needed hot water to make myself hot tea in my thermos for the drive back, but the machine was not there. We had a great time at the property, and I would gladly return."

"A lovely, clean and comfortable apartment with a well equipped kitchenette. Nice china, glassware for 6. Bring your teas and favourite coffee, because the supply is limited, maybe it might havee been obtained on request but we did not call the reception, anyways, there is a coffee shop right across the street. We are not used to microfiber bed linnens, however they were clean and we were ok with out winter cotton pijamas. Next time I will take a set of cotton linnens with us, everything else being very nice and clean. We called the reception and we got a blanket and an extra duvet. the lady at the reception was very nice emailing us with information about x-country trails. The towels and tolietries were very good quality. All in all we wil definitely return to Lakeside Inn Apartments and certaolnly recommend it to our friends. Nice stay in Lake Placid."
