"This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast buffet did not provide sufficient variety, especially fruits and vegetables. Restaurant had goof service but dinner was served mildly warm. Staff was friendly but not fluent in German or English. Rooms were good but cold due to the heaters being covered. Wellness was not offered at the scale for the size of the hotel. All in all, not recommended "

"The hotel is located in a quite small town close to Linderhof palace. It works well as a gateway to Zugspitze in the south and Neuschwanstein in the west. The room is big, clean and modern. The restaurant and the breakfast are excellent. Truly a hidden gem. "

The front desk staff and waiters were all extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was extremely comfortable and well appointed.
