"We loved our stay. It had a feel of better times, with kids playing together in a safe space, plenty of space for adults to hang nearby with good food and drinks. I loved the room which was very clean and had a retro style. So much space too! Don’t forget to pack your bathing suits. We didn’t and we’re disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool. The dinner buffet, and breakfast buffet were both very good. "

"The hotel was a great place to stay - it filled our needs and was a good value , clean and had a great staff . It is family run and a great find . Great location , beautiful scenery and friendly staff . Do not sleep on the breakfast - we have done a lot of travel and spent time at very expensive hotels - this breakfast is awesome . The owner / manager is a great host ( Andreas ) - highly recommend "

"The hotel is amazingly full of historical elements. The warm hospitality from the owners and staff was amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable with robes to use in the SPA. Breakfast every morning was an array of all foods to please. I especially enjoyed an evening where we dined on homemade soup Marianne made. We were 100% pleased and would highly recommend for a stay. "Just came down for one night but enjoyed the spa facilities. Buffet dinner was good for the money and hotel was very pleasant with modern decor styling. Bring your rubber pool slides as quite expensive to buy from hotel shop on a Sunday if you forget them !I would like to come back to stay on a ski holiday. Very friendly people in town and had a great time going up the Zugspitze . "

"Great hotel overall. Loved the location, property, facilities/amenities, room and continental breakfast. Staff were excellent too! Just wish our shower was larger - so small in comparison to room size and when compared with other rooms we saw. "

"I loved it! The history at this place is amazing. Definitely recommend going to the restaurant. Servers are amazing and humorous. Infact, made friends with them and had a great time! The cleaners are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend the beer liqour shot at the restaurant in this hotel. "
