"This is easily one of my favorite resorts on Koh Samui. The food is excellent, the views are amazing, and the staff is some of the best on the island. I've stayed here five or six times now, and every time I come back, the staff remembers me by name. I always have a great time catching up with them, and it's one of the things I really look forward to whenever I return. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and I usually spoil myself by getting a room with a sea view. There's really nothing better than waking up in the morning, looking out across the water, and seeing Koh Phangan in the distance. It's one of those views that never gets old. And I have to mention the khao soi. In my opinion, it's the best on Koh Samui, hands down. Trust me, I've tried it at just about every restaurant on the island that serves it, and nothing has topped this place. I've stayed at plenty of resorts on Koh Samui, and there's a reason I keep coming back here. Between the beautiful views, comfortable rooms, incredible food, and genuinely wonderful staff."

"Iโ€™ll start with my 2 biggest complaints. They allow smoking everywhere at the resort. Secondโ€ฆ the beach is not private. There are a ton of hostels nearby and you can pay to go to the beach, so it wasnโ€™t quite as peaceful as I was hoping got would be. But overall, location was great. Wasnโ€™t get around on scooters (donโ€™t rent at the resort, just walk 10 min around the corner and you can rent them for 100B a day less."

"We had an amazing stay at the Banyan Tree and absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had the best trip. All of the restaurants are excellent and offer a variety of choices but the Thai food was exceptional. The property is beautiful, well maintained and all of the amenities are superb. We can't wait to return."
