"Ich hatte schöne Tage als Alleinreisender im Raum Arnstadt und bin im Hotel Goldene Sonne für fünf Tage gut untergekommen. Der Inhaber als auch die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hatten für die Umgebung immer einen Tipp parat. Für den aufgerufenen Preis fand ich das Hotel hervorragend. Es ist lediglich schade, dass das Restaurant des Hotels nur noch Sonntags, und dann (so meine ich) auch nur zur Mittagszeit geöffnet hat. "Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigen, etwas abgelegenen Lage – ideal zum Entspannen. Beim Frühstück war für jeden etwas dabei, und auch das Essen von der Speisekarte war sehr lecker. "Hotel provided a pass for the tram into the downtown for our entire stay. This was great and made getting around very convenient. It was, I think, one stop to the train station and another stop to the downtown. Rooms clean, comfortable and larger than tropical European hotel rooms. Breakfast was good."
