Baden Baden Old Town is popular for its relaxing spas, and if you're looking for more to see and do, you might think about a trip to Friedrichsbad or Casino Baden-Baden.
While there might not be top attractions in Geroldsau, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Geroldsau Waterfall and Lichtentaler Allee Park.
Baden-Baden is a hidden gem in the hills of Germany. We recommend the wonderful winter (Christmas) market and although we didn't get to the spa, we have heard it is a great experience. The town is very walk-able with many store and restaurants.

Check out König Cafe. The music festival was fun and the tour of the casino was amazing. We especially enjoyed walks in the park along the river.

The town has Christmas markets which had just finished. I would like to return to walk around them as there seems to be a lot of effort that goes into them. Nice restaurants and cafe to eat on and around the town.

Great city. Walkable. Lots of choices. And if you're looking for milk-free chocolate, this is definitely the place!

Do more research before going to the springs. I wasted a lot of time as I didn't understand about the towels and putting stuff in locker. I can't wait to go back to relax.

Baden-Baden exceeded our expectations. We will be visiting again. My new favorite city.
"We loved our stay here. We had the most spacious room in all of our travel in Europe. We enjoyed eating on the balcony and the breakfast was top-notch. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!"
"Top notch boutique-quaint hotel, 15 minutes from Caracalla spa. and 15 mins to Old Town. Breakfast was so classy with made to order eggs. Quiet to sleep and room had lovely appointments. VALUE ! Would HIGHLY recommend. The window shade are electric that darken the room for restful sleep"
"This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Baden-Baden. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and made for a relaxing stay. The surrounding area is full of amenities, and dining at The Grill by the casino—just steps away—was a highlight. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious and well-presented. The only downside was that many local businesses were closed on Sunday and Monday, which limited some exploration. Still, overall, a wonderful experience."

"Tucked away in a delightfully convenient location—close enough to the pulse of the city, yet far enough to feel like a true retreat—this hotel is a shining example of what modern hospitality should feel like. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I was met with warmth, grace, and professionalism that elevated my stay beyond mere comfort.
The staff here are nothing short of extraordinary. Genuinely friendly and impeccably trained, they strike the rare balance between attentiveness and discretion. Every request was met with a smile, and their seamless coordination behind the scenes ensured my experience felt effortless from check-in to checkout.
Cleanliness is clearly a cornerstone of this hotel’s philosophy. My room was spotless, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged—like a haven waiting to be discovered after a long day. Crisp linens, gleaming surfaces, and a soft, calming scent set the tone for restorative rest.
Each meal was a culinary delight. Breakfast in particular deserves special mention—not just for the variety of fresh and delicious offerings, but for the absolutely stellar service from Gabrielle. Despite the breakfast room being bustling with guests, Gabrielle remained a pillar of poise and professionalism. Always smiling, never flustered, she ensured every guest felt attended to with care and genuine warmth. Her dedication made mornings something to look forward to.

"Really convenient hotel, with a parking garage. We stayed for a couple of days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms had portable air conditioning since there’s no central air. It worked fine. Beds were comfortable. Everything in area was walkable. Would stay here again if we were in the area. "
