"Everything was perfect, the Lange room, comfortable beds, great location between Hbf and the center. However, the air-conditioning was not regulated, it was too hot in the room. There is no shampoo or shower gel but the hand soap(!) in the shower. The breakfast at 9:50 was empty (should be till 11:00) and was not renewed, considerable luck of the serving personal at the restaurant, actually gust one girl."

"Sehr schönes neuwertiges Appartements mit liebevollen Details in zentraler Lage für alle Unterbehmungen im Schwarzwald. Auch nahe zum Elsass und Straßburg. Herr Schuster hat das Haus in 2024 übernommen und ist für seine Gäste sehr gut erreichbar. Er kümmert sich um jegliche Belange. Noch gibt es ein paar Kinderkrankheiten, aber diese werden sich sicher schnell beseitigen lassen. Wir wünschen viel Erfolg!"

"Nothing like the photos. Bathroom and bedding akin to hostel standards. Kitchen dirty with cobwebs in corners. It is not an apartment but a unit insde an operating Seniors Nursing Home. Totally misleading and disappointed with Expedia promoting this the way it is. Destroyed the final weeks of our trip that have all been great through Expedia until this experience "

The central staircase is a wonderful feat of engineering and time should be taken to appreciate it both looking down from the top and up to the stained glass window in the ceiling several floors up. "Very nice room and very comfortable bed. Service was good too. Our booking stated free parking included, however on arrival we were informed that it was subject to availability. Luckily we got a parking slot, but could have been a big hassle and disappointment otherwise after a very long trip. Should be clear upon booking. All in all, nice stay, would book again. "
