"What a great find! A beautifully renovated property in a charming area of Umbria. There were many types of rooms to choose from. Our room was spacious and modern yet comfortable. Anna at reception was so friendly and helpful! The buffet breakfast included many choices of pastries, fruit, and hot and cold choices. I highly recommend a stay at the Monteleone!"

"Lovely hotel with amazing views of the valley, conveniently located near to Pienza and Montepulciano. The restaurant was great, offering local foods typical of the area though they are strict about reserving in advance even as a guest. The real standout was the staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Wish we spent more time by the pool and on property as it was perfectly tranquil and scenic. "

"By far my favorite stay in Italy. The rooms are beautiful and a lot of thought is put into their guests’ comfort. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hotel is close enough to several towns to be convenient, but far enough away to feel quiet and peaceful. But best of all is the restaurant downstairs. We went there every night and were always impressed with the menu and how kind everyone was. I asked the sommelier for wine pairings and was glad I did. "
