Staff were very cordial and hospitable. Breakfast was good. Dining area is ok. Room carpet is due for shampooing or maybe I s time to update the carpet.
It’s not their practice cleaning the room unless customer requested. It should be the other way around, customer plug a note not to clean their room. That’s a practice we notice in every hotel we check in. No other tissue except a toilet paper.
Stayed for a week for business meetings. The property has a good location, in the middle of other places in Baguio. There’s no convenient stores around like 7-11 but if you’re the type of traveler who brings their own tumbler, they can assist you to fill it up. The breakfast is until 10am, wide spread of breakfast items. They also have room service if you opt to dine inside the room.
The room doesn’t have aircon however there’s ceiling fan, i stayed this October so expect the weather is cool, no need for aircon.
I tried their gym and heated pool, the pool closes at 5pm, the gym closes at 8pm
The must try is their Japanese restaurant on the 9th floor, it has indoor and outdoor dining.
If you need your caffeine fix, the coffee shop at the lobby serves good coffee!
Will definitely come back
Unfortunately I wanted to love this place as I enjoy discovering boutique hotels all over the world.
Upon arriving to our hallway of our room there was a musty strong odor but I realized it was just probably the hallway carpet as there is alot of traffic in and out. We dropped off our belongings and came back in the evening and the bathroom reeked with some odor that I felt was coming in from the pipes. The sink water was was not going down. We had someone fix it. The following day the smell was worse and the shower water was not draining well as well. We had a night manager come in and review it himself and he moved us to better accommodation. Unfortunatel the executive suite they transferred us to also had plumbing problems. The following morning our toilet was plugged ( we know not to place tissues and toilet paper in the toilets in the philippines) we called customer service and no one came to look at it.
I think this hotel has potential but they need to fix their smelly carpets, plumbing issues and customer service. Upon sharing our experience to one of the front desk attendants we asked for the day manager. Another attendant raised his hand who was standing by the female attendant listening to us. He stood there but never even acknowledge he was a manager or did anything about it. The previous evening manager, Kristopher, was way more accommodating despite the circumstances. Save your money. Go else where for better service and value. This is a hotel in training.
Stayed here for 4 nights during November and actually upgraded to a deluxe room because not all rooms have a/c.
The room was massive for just one person but I barely used the a/c which is okay I didn’t mind the space.
The breakfast at this hotel is really nice. It’s sort of a mix between Filipino and western options. Also I loved the location which was so conveniently located close to SM mall, secret garden restaurant which is right opposite the hotel and had great food/cute seating.
The staff here is really kind and nice, they helped me from my smallest requests to assisting my friend with early check in. I would totally stay here again! You also have an in room massage option which was such a bonus. You do need to pay in pesos directly to the masseuse so make sure you are prepared. The massage for me was a 10/10!
Few cons for this hotel- the room smells like mold. No matter how much I left the windows open, I think it was the carpets unfortunately. Second, the room I got faced the street which at times was super noisy at late and early hours . This noise is mostly from vehicles going up and down right in front of the hotel as you’re facing the road. And lastly, the bathroom stunk a bit like sewage if you turned on the ventilation fan.
Overall good experience!
