We had a very pleasant and relaxing two night stay at Maison Otis. Our very clean room had a king size bed, was very spacious and well appointed. In just a few steps we were outside the hotel to the main downtown area, which has many shops, art galleries and a wide variety of dining options. The location couldn't be any more convenient! We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel as well. Parking was also very convenient, with our car just outside the rear entrance of the building. The manager Guylaine is a very sweet kind lady who spent a considerable amount of time making sure that we were informed of what local attractions, including a tourist information centre were available to us. We highly recommend Maison Otis and would not hesitate to return!

Maison Otis had a lovely, large room that was clean and cozy. It is situated right in the heart of Baie St Paul and easy to walk to everything.

We were very impressed with the place. Check in and check out were very easy and the room was clean. We had everything we needed and more! Would highly recommend staying here - tons of great restaurants nearby and cute little artsy shops.

It was a nice property. Easy to get to, very bland on the inside. The rooms were loud and echoey and very bright. There was shampoo available only two conditioners and there was only decaf coffee available in the coffee station.

Superb location for visiting Baie Saint Paul. The room was spacious and overall clean. Walls are quite thin however and you can hear you neighbour's conversation.

Inhospitable. Finding our room after gaining entry was difficult and inconvenient. A most peculiar layout. A beautiful entry/reception area is unstaffed. A keypad entry at this door would improve things so much. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

We were in Room 5, an excellent suite, with artsy wall decoration, and an exquisite bathroom. With two suite cases the stairs are steep and narrow, but with the help of the concierge, we managed.

This property was well located in the town of Baie St-Paul but there was no guidance to the "autonomous stay". We had to sneak around the closets to find clean towels for the second day of our stay and no one answered the "urgent line" for help. We would expect room cleaning service for the price paid.

AIR B AND B NOT a HOTEL!!!

This is an air B and B NOT a hotel. There is no reception and the only staff is the cleaning staff (they are quite friendly) there is no elevator so you have to carry heavy bags up notoriously high stairs to the second floor if you are staying in a suite. There are no phones in the room so you cannot call for room service or other services. The room was clean and very well cared for

The hotel was closed when we arrive d--and I mean CLOSED. All of the businesses were aware that it was not taking guests AT ALL! But they did send me an email the next day telling me that they had processed my payment! Had to find alternate lodging.

Very nice accocombo lockmodations. However there is no staffed reception area. We did not receive the instructions re: key pickup. We were given instructions as to where the key was but it is a confusing entry procedure. The entry door is at the back of the building next door. the door has a keypad to get in. We asked a couple of times before finding the door. Our room was up a 21 step flight of stairs and through several hallways back to the main building. Had the reception in the main building been opened the acces would have been much better. The room was lovely and very clean and quiet .

Baie-St-Paul was great, and Maison Otis is right in the heart of it. Nice town with great stores, cafes, and restaurants, and the hiking nearby is fantastic. While we enjoyed the room and location, and staff were friendly, unfortunately someone entered our suite both mornings we stayed there, while we were in the room (apparently due to a misdirected delivery the first morning, and a handyman the second morning). The room entry is via code entry, and can’t be additionally deadbolt locked. I brought this up with front desk, and while they said it was a communication issue, there seems to be a casual approach to entering guest suites that needs to be corrected.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We were told there would not be staff on the property so would have to call for an entry code. Everytime we tried it said “ push for English” which we did and then the line went dead. We ended up calling Expedia and after an hour and a half was given the code to the front door. We discovered that there was also an entrance in the back. We had to carry our luggage up many stairs and found the door could be opened with no security code. The halls were dirty and dark , the room smelt very stale and there was food on the floor and the balcony unkempt.

Our two nights at Maison Otis contrasted sharply with one another. The first night we were thrilled with the room -- an extremely spacious room on the first floor, close to the parking lot, with a king bed, as requested. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the air conditioner unit, and we were moved to the far end of the hotel. We had to lug our furniture up a long flight of stairs and cart it down several (about four) long, dark, and dimly-lit hallways, including a few more stairs -- to the farthest possible end of the building from the parking. The second room felt small and cramped and had what felt like a double bed. It was a major letdown and disappointment, and I was quite unhappy with the change. I was glad we were not scheduled to stay longer.
