The room was pet-friendly, but not only on paper. We arrived and there was a basket with a blanket, 2 bowls and a towel for our dog. 💜 The place was super clean and organized, we only had one night but would have stayed longer with no hesitation :)

Motel is in a nice location closer to restaurants and coffee shops. Room was clean and well maintained. I loved the Keurig coffee in the room. Packed breakfast - bread, yogurt, jam, juice and granola was worth it. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Karrie was a great host - welcomed us and made special accommodation for our bikes. The newly renovated room was as amazing … and the location a pleasant walk to all of the restaurants and shopping.

The Family was perfect for our family of 5. Each child at their own bed, no argument. Spacious bathroom with double sink. The decor was on point an everything, including the hand soap smelled amazing. We will definitely recommand.

The owners Keri and Philip are awesome, very friendly and helpful. This property is like a motel in the states and that you can drive your car up to the front door. I stayed in a renovated room that had everything I needed, frig, and microwave. There are picnic tables with umbrellas outside where I met other travelers. It’s a quiet location and walkable to town.

Very open minded and friendly reception. The owners are exceptionally friendly, cheerful and sociable. At home feeling . Clean comfortable room and beds with quality accessories. Coffee etc. Outdoor tables chairs and fireplace (weather permitting) lit up evenings. Close to city center and good restaurants. On site parking close access to rooms. Good selection of comfortable neat motels to choose from. Instant hot or cold water which I have not found in hotels/motels in big tourist areas. One of the best hotel experiences we've had! The owners are such a lovely couple and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do, which made our stay even better. Our room was newly renovated, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless. We also loved the little porch outside our room—it was the perfect place to enjoy dinner in the evening. Later that night, the owners lit the fireplace in the cozy shared lounge, which created such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The biggest surprise was how dog-friendly the motel is. They had a basket ready for our puppy with a water bowl and a blanket, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend Motel Boutique Hygge to anyone visiting the area. We can't wait to come back!

I booked this gem last minute and I’m so glad I dod so. The rooms have had recent upgrades, not depicted in the photos, and there’s a clean, modern look with a practical layout and amenities. In addition to the standards of the room, and a very comfortable bed, mine included a mini-fridge, which was a bonus. Bathrooms were also refreshed and modern with tall showers and a clean feel. The staff was very helpful, as well. As a last minute booking, they greeted me by name when I arrived. The co-owner (wife), Carrie, was a Florida native and was very hospitable, giving me a lay of the town and options for things to do while there—all within walking distance and very much appreciated by this English speaker. I would eagerly stay here again and fell in love with Baie Saint-Paul thanks to Carrie’s recommendations.

I stayed here during a trip from Georgia to Charlevoix and I would happily stay here again. The owners are friendly and helpful. The property is clean and comfortable. And it’s easily walkable to the restaurants and shops.

This place is a real gem! The owners are so kind. We had our (senior) dog with us and the place is great for dogs, even have a welcome basket for the pups! The rooms are recently renovated and very nice. The name is applicable, definitely a “boutique motel”! Thanks for being so kind! We would love to return some day!

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in town this is it. This place is truly charming, the proud owners are friendly and like to chat. The room is clean and cozy, it comes with everything you need to have a comfortable stay, TV with Roku, Keurig coffee maker (they supply K-Cups), minifridge, microwave. Outside they have 2 propane grills with picnic tables and even a firepit. If you have an EV there are two J1772 chargers I believe they are 9kw and they cost only 2$ per hour. They have a small menu if your want to buy snacks, also there's a convenience store across the street with a surprising selection of microbreweries beers.

Très bien rénové, au goût du jour et moderne, en plus d’être très propre. Les propriétaires étaient sur place à notre arrivée et étaient très sympathiques. Ils nous ont donné quelques bonnes recommandations locales. L’arrivée autonome s’est également très bien déroulée.
