Hotels near Bairdford Park

"Place was disgusting. I would not even take a shower in the morning because the bathtub was so dirty and black all around the grout. There was Hair on the toilet seat and hair on the back of the toilet, It was dusty, dirty, and toilet definitely was not clean like where the lid attaches to the toilet. Also, I tried to turn the air-conditioning on. Never came on overnight. Room was very warm. It finally came on right as I was getting ready to walk out the door. Sheets appear to be clean. But mattress was lumpy hard and just all over uncomfortable. As I was trying to rest before I left at checkout time somebody from housekeeping was on their cell phone talking so loudly that I could not relax. I would avoid this place at all cost. I really regret not staying somewhere different."

"The only problem I had was the fact that I booked my reservation with Hotels.com. Apparently it causes a problem with their bookkeeping system and it took considerable time at checkin for the clerk to figure out how to handle "incidental charges". I prepaid my room charges thru Hotels.com so they did not have my credit card on file. I gave them my credit card to handle any incidental charges. Twice during my short stay I purchased a soda from the little store area in the lobby. I offered to pay cash, but the clerk said it would be easier to charge it to the room. On check out, the clerk on duty did not know how to handle the charge for the two sodas which I believe was about $6. I was in a hurry and had to leave and trusted they would figure it out and charge it to my card. As of this date I have not seen a charge on my card for the two sodas. Not a big deal but you would think they would know how to handle these types of things and it was just a minor annoyance."

"We were able to get coffee right after checking into the hotel. This was a plus for my husband. Shortly after checking in, someone attempted to walk into our room. They apologized but it shouldn't have happened. We noticed that the light as you step into the room was not working. The breakfast was very good and fresh. We will probably stay again."

"The hotel is dated, but we found it clean and very comfortable. The railroad tracks were nearby, but they didn't bother us. I usually have trouble sleeping in strange beds, but I slept very well."
