I really enjoyed my stay at the St. James Hotel. The location was perfect, very close to Times Square, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and bilingual. My room was always clean and comfortable.
What I loved the most, though, was the atmosphere. Staying at the St. James honestly felt like traveling back in time. The classic style, the old-fashioned charm, and the character of the hotel made the experience feel completely different from a modern hotel.
If you love classic hotels and appreciate places with history and personality, I highly recommend the St. James. It was one of my favorite parts of my trip to New York, and I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very well situated, and we got great service (shoutout to Manuel at reception!). The public areas and the room were all very clean and well maintained. The room doors slam very loudly, and so when other guests leave or arrive early morning or late at night we hear doors slamming. It would be accommodating if complimentary water bottles were replenished daily and not just upon arrival. We would stay there again!

We love this hotel! Our daughter goes to NYU and the location is perfect. Our check in ritual is to head over to Whole Foods and the wine shop on Bowery to stock up the mini fridge. The rooms and common spaces are immaculate. Early complimentary coffee on the Lobby level is so appreciated. Can't wait for our next stay!
