"We were told parking was not available at the property yet a few expensive looking cars were parked in the front of the hotel in the semi circle for all the time of our stay - so not sure why as the signs did say no parking yet they didn’t move! The spa was also not included in the price whereas at most hotels this is a standard offering for hotel guests and was charged daily so was very expensive. Breakfast was also a bit chaotic on our first morning, service was slow and not a lot of choice on the continental side. Apart from those issues, the hotel was lovely and the rooms very spacious. The staff when we arrived quite late on the evening were very good as was the staff in the restaurant. "

"Good location, nice reception, rooms need a refurbishment. Towel rail not working. Room was cold . I believe the house control the heating and didn't have it switched on to cut costs. Summer stay would be ok."

"Breakfast was lousy no glasses no coffee cups toaster was useless put timer on for 6 mins and inly slightly browned on 1 side not much choice on menu eggs omelette and plain porridge needles to say we wasted our money on breakfast "
