"Beautiful location on a quiet fjord. Nice big rooms. We could sit outside our room and watch all the waterfalls on both sides of the valley. Really wish the sauna would have been open later in the evening, we really wanted to do the sauna/fjord jump."

"The hotel is well located with great views of the fjord from a spacious front deck. Staff were all most helpful and the food consistently excellent. The room had limited shelf or cupboard space to unpack. The Bathroom was grey and had insufficient places to hang anything or put wash bags (for two). Book a bedroom with a view at the front - ours at the back was dark with a small window and side view of the fjord. And third and fourth floors (ground is first floor) accessible only by stairs - and we had to haul cases ourselves. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was a great base to explore Aurland and the surrounding countryside."

"This is a very basic hotel - at top price due to location. If you are UK it's a Travellodge, France it's an Ibis Budget. Wondefull views from front bedroom. Inclusive dinner very nice for one night. Very convenient for ferry / train."
