"What a find the Hyatt Masana was. We’re just back from a family holiday and cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. Attention to deal began from check-in with a warm and friendly greeting including the delivery of our luggage to our room. The accommodation comprised a fully functioning kitchenette complete with washer/drier, dishwasher and other appliances allowing for in-house meals and snacks which was really useful. The food offering in the excellent Tupuc (special mention for Richard) made for a great Anniversary dinner on one of our nights. The more informal downstairs restaurant overlooking the pool made for a lovely vista and the staff overseen at breakfast by the delightful Elysa made for a special start to each date. In fact all the staff were so helpful and pleasant that it made our week long stay a really happy one. Definitely the Masana is one to recommend and should we pass this way again a repeat visit would be a must."

"Beautiful hotel, pool immaculate and rooms lovely. Cleaned rooms every day and all staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was sumptuous,would highly recommend this hotel if you want a total relax. Sept was lovely time to go, high twenties and loads of sunbeds available."

"We felt like the reception staff were really polite and welcoming to the hotel. Gave us a pool facing room so it wasn’t as loud which was a good touch. The hotel room was actually really nice, bed was comfy, loads of plugs in convenient locations! Bathroom was very modern. Our only issue was the aircon was absolutely horrendous, that needs updating ASAP. We did then ask for a fan and got a few hours later which allowed us to actually fall asleep because the room was boiling. I think something is up with the door to open your balcony but didn’t bother us too much was just worried we’d end up breaking it cause you have to yank it, could do with being fixed! The pool area was really nice, was regularly cleaned for rubbish and had a nice vibe to it. The food and drinks were quite expensive at the pool bar but then again it is a hotel right on the strip so what can you expect. If the air con was better and prices were slightly cheaper I’d probably give it a 5 out of 5 star stay! Would definitely stay again. Definitely better than expected! Thank you for accommodating a lovely stay for our first time in Portugal!"

"We were meeting friend in the area and only stayed one night. The room booked had two single beds but on arrival we were asked if we would prefer a double bed and we said yes, the bed was changed in a few minutes. The room was very clean and well maintained. The A/C in the room was very good. The reception is staffed 24-7, very friendly and helpful. Our Portuguese is very basic but the staff worked with us in English. We visited the bar area, large, clean and again friendly staff. Our friends used the pool and were very pleased with it. We parked outside the hotel, no extra charge but while parking directly outside is limited there is substantial parking in several areas nearby. There is a very nice beach 5-10 walk with a nice casual restaurant/bar. This hotel is rated three star and it certainly operates at that or above. Great staff."
