"The staff were especially friendly and welcoming. We are Canadians and we wanted to watch the Canadian soccer team and asked if we could have a late checkout to accommodate this and they gave us one but unfortunately the Canadians lost but that wasn’t their fault.. The room was big and spacious and very comfortable.. I really like that they had Starbucks coffee in the room and also in the lobby.. it wasn’t the July 4 weekend so the breakfast was probably more crowded than usual, but they enlarge the eating space to the restaurant to accommodate all of us. The only thing I would say is that the location is not right in town so you will need a car but other than that, it was a great day."

"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room looked when opening the door. Parking right in front was convenient. The desk staff was very nice when I checked in. I slept very comfortably on the large bed. The shower was a bit short and I had to bend to wash my hair but other than that there is zero complaints about this hotel and I intend to use it in the future when visiting my family in town."

"Great place to stay with young kids. Didn’t love the fireworks being set off by people on the beach late at night until after 11pm. This was not the hotel/resorts doing it was the occupants staying there. The kids did not get a restful sleep. Overall the resort was great but the pool was crazy with the kids kicking beach balls everywhere even up onto people’s balconies. We avoided the pool because of this as you were always dodging balls being kicked around while others are trying to relax alongside the pool. In hindsight, we didn’t get to experience the resort the way we would have liked because of these factors . Hopefully more “rules” are made in place before we come and stay again."

"I can't express enough how nice it is to stay at a family-run Inn! 6 months ago, I posted a question asking for a good place to renew our wedding vows on Orcas Island. The Landmark Inn's owners suggested some places and remembered us when we booked our room. We text them to say we were arriving late due to a flight delay. They made late check-in easy for us and had a wonderful charcuterie board from The Goat and Company (https://www.thegoatandco.net/) waiting in the refrigerator! They sent a note explaining that all businesses would be closed by the time we reached our room, so there would be nowhere to get food. I would have been happy with a PBJ but this board has just about everything on it! Receiving that personalized help was so nice; it really started our vacation on a good foot. We had a spectacular view of the East Sound right out of our windows and balcony. Can't say enough nice things about the Landmark Inn!"
