"The property has gotten old. Maybe lack of maintenance or a lot of facilities are under repair. Not as great as it used to be. Still beautiful though."

"Really nice hotel , worth upgrading to the corner rooms as they have more windows and bigger deck . Thanks to the front desk staff for accommodating us with early check in and late check out , Cheky in the breakfast area was great making sure we had everything we wanted !! Would stay again!! "

"the check was a bit of a hassle it took quite some time to get in the room the reason being it was not ready but they did give us complimentary basic 60min massage so it was okay. but they sure do are strict on the check out time of 12 noon. nonetheless it was an amazing stay!"

"The room was spotless and the staff was exceptional. All and I mean all were pleasant and smiling. They really take care of you. The breakfast was good. Getting meals in Station 1 is a challenge and I recommend paying extra to just be able to grab a bite at the hotel. If you don't want to walk to the beach. Just cool off in the pool. Really the staff stands out here. Just amazing. They all deserve a raise. The security, the concierge, the restaurant staff, pool attendant, house keeping, and the front desk agents. They were all exceptional. The walk to the beach is short, but could be a little challenging if you are older as it goes downhill then uphill to return. Just a fair warning. Even with that I'm giving 5/5 for the amazing staff. "

"The place is well-maintained, like new, from the lobby, the on-site restaurants, the guest rooms. The ambience is warm and elegant. The staff are likewise welcoming, respectful unfailingly helpful. Anything you might want in a five star resort. Shangri-la is the only place I will stay"

"What stood out the most was Mark the singer/entertainment gentleman. He was so kind and hospitable! His voice is absolutely incredible and he made our stay extra special. Always a nice word when we ran into him and he always asked what we wanted to hear when he was singing. Can’t say enough about him! "
