"Reasonably priced single room with great view over the harbour. Bedding was clean and crisp and room of a good size. Bathroom very clean and adequate. Slightly squeaky floorboards and sound from room next door but to be expected in a hotel of this age. Comfortable lounge to have a drink in the evening and look at the water."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were highly impressed by the high standard of service in this centrally located hotel in Oban. Our room was overlooking the bay and was very well prepared and cleaned during our stay. One of the highlights for us was the excellent cooked breakfast which set us up for the day! In particular we would like to mention how supportive and professional reception staff were throughout our stay."

"Pros: Beautiful view of Loch across from the hotel. Area was quiet and felt safe. Bathrooms were well lit. Blackout curtains were sufficient. Breakfast buffet was well done - we have several food allergies in our family and they very cheerfully helped us determine which foods might be best for us. Cons: Bathrooms could use an update or at least a better cleaning. Towels were a bit dingy and even stained. We got in late evening and left early morning, so we did not spend much time in the hotel. It met our family’s needs and we would recommend to anyone on a budget looking to stay in the Ft. William area. "
