Easter stay in Ballarat
Had a lovely stay at Heritage on Lydiard. Our room was at the back so very quiet, with secure off street parking. Very clean, spacious room. The only thing I would complain about, there was no soap holder in the shower, and there were blankets on the bed, which were quite heavy. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and there were spare blankets and pillows in the cupboard. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and dining. Car parking is a little complicated but we got used to where the laneway was that we were supposed to turn into. I am not sure if there is enough parking for all rooms in the hotel, however, we managed to get a spot each time we returned, even though one time it was the last one left! The room we were in was facing Lydiard Street, which was a bit noisy over the weekend nights, but that is to be expected. Staff were friendly. The room was nice, clean and had a good shower!

We understand some of our guests may get confused with the location entrance for our carpark, unfortunately, when you are dealing with a heritage-listed property we are only able to renovate so much. Our carpark does offer enough space for one car per room, but that does fill up quite fast over busy weekdays and weekends. We do also understand your comments in relation to weekend noise, our team do their best to accommodate our guests with minimal noise disturbance but unfortunately, some of this is out of our control. Very central, clean and quiet. Would improve the check in/car parking process by providing an explanation of how it all works prior to arrival......maybe I missed it !! Staff very welcoming and friendly, excellent breakfast at the "pub".

Heritage was done well without compromising on the modern, likethe bathroom. Would have loved a window that opened, it appeared to be painted shut.

Meals and bar were in the parent hotel George and at 6.15 pm, when the bar had only 4 people in it they would not serve a drink to us

It’s a lovely hotel with nice furnishings, some areas are quite worn such as the carpeting and, for us, damage in the bathroom caused by wear and tear. Staff were lovely. Unfortunately the beds were far too hard for us, we ended up putting the extra blankets in the wardrobe underneath us but it still didn’t stave off four sleepless nights with sore hips.

Very nice stay. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The female receptionist (and who assisted on arrival) was particularly helpful. I ordered food from The George and which was plentiful and tasty and the staff interactions there were also helpful. Thank you.

Very comfy room, spacious and with some little extras not often found - magnifying mirror, good lighting, bowls and cutlery. Very close to restaurants and places to go, and to railway station if without a car. Just - please- some mugs? Those cups are so little!. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely room in the centre of town
A beautiful that was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its proximity to some fairly buzzing bars. Staff were helpful and service was quick. A small problem with the gate to the parking was rectified pretty quickly and ultimately had zero impact on our stay.

Within the central part of Ballarat... close to many things. Staff weren't present at the desk in the latter part of the day. Lift often had a siren sounding and sent warning messages.

We apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. The lobby phone is always connected to our staff and we always try our best to be available within minutes when requested. This property was great for our 1 night stay. The beds were really comfortable and bathrooms clean. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and helped us out with parking and directions. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, convenient and not too expensive
This is a very comfortable hotel, close to the station and the centre of town. It is also less expensive than the hotels nearby which means you can get the same sort of benefits for less. Very friendly staff. I left an item in the room when we vacated and they were quick to get in contact about it. We will stay again when next in Ballarat.
