"Compact and cozy cottage with a delicious breakfast provided - including eggs and bacon! Electric heating AND an ambient wood stove for warmth. We stayed in the smaller suite and it is only big enough for a couple. Beautiful grounds and welcoming people, certainly didn't feel crowded by hosts or other guests. Thanks!"

"Lovely countryside location (saw a group of kangaroos just 10 metres from our back door), just a short walk into town. Delicious breakfast, with the hosts putting thought into what activities the guests would like to do and offering local advice. Clean and well kept, love the spa bath as well as the air-con (it was 39 degrees the weekend we visited!)."

It would have been amazing if I had been allocated a unit at the ground floor which I requested at check I and was told there were none available. Had to climb the stairs with my luggage which was inconvenient as we are overseas travellers with big luggage. Other than that the room was clean and well equipped

Location was about 4 KM away from Daylesford. Not user friendly for seniors old folks with luggage or wheel chairs Good for younger couples Jacuzzi was nice and the chalet was well decorated Nice touch was the free Netflix

Many facilities for the kids and walking distance to sovereign hill. Walking distance to eateries too. The heater works well too. Loves to environment. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I was very satisfied with the charming historic building, the interior design, the central location, and the cleanliness. I booked a single room, but the bed was double-sized, and the room even had a window and a bathtub, which made my stay even more comfortable. If I visit Ballarat again, I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing accommodation and surroundings. Quiet and peaceful stay. Had pleasant encounters with wallabies in the evening at the Golf Courses nearby the resort. The bathrooms allow for natural lightings through. Late at night, when you turn off all the lights, you could see many stars. Nice place for family bonding.

Absolutely fabulous. Gorgeous room (ours was the Yellow Room). Claw-foot bath tub. Open fire. Bottle of wine and chocolate provided. Outdoor jacuzzi. It really does not get better. I can't understand why hotels.com has an 8.4 rating. This property should be 9+
